Sandy's work is informed by her experience at EMQ, the largest social service agency in Santa Clara, California where she worked as a therapist with adolescents and their families in a residential treatment facility as well as in a highly therapuetic school based program. Prior to that, sandy worked for five years at The Bill Wilson Center in Santa Clara, Ca counseling counseling adults, couples and adolescents with a wide variety of psychological issues .
Sandy has consulted with Bay Area mental health agencies on DBT, and she is a member of Califoirnia Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
Sandy lives in the Bay Area with her partner, and they are fortunate to have been adopted by several adorable rescue terriers. Sandy enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and all things Alpaca.

Diane is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who joined the SVDBT team in June 2019. She received her Master’s degree in Holistic Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Buddhist Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and has been counseling children, adolescents, families and adults for the last 4 years.
Diane has intensive training in DBT through Behavioral Tech and has formal training in Transactional Analysis, Redecision Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Satirian, structural, and family systems theories, as well as her previous experience at Uplift Family Services and at Almaden Valley Counseling Service (AVCS), inform her therapeutic lens.
Diane’s is a genuine and compassionate therapist who supports clients in making changes they wish to make. Her strengths are in working with parents and families, and with individual clients on issues such as childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and self-harm.
Diane’s interests include yoga, reading, traveling and gardening, and she resonates strongly with holistic healing arts. Diane is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and resides in Santa Cruz, California with her husband and beloved kitty Sophie.
